Shaikh Muhammad al-Anjaree delivered a lecture yesterday here in Birmingham which was a tremendous piece of advice and an excellent insight into manhaj. He began by explaining that the Sunni manhaj is one of detail, it has always been one of detail, the salaf never spoke in generalities. The Shaikh stated that when we explain the usool, we explain in detail and when we refute we leave no doubt as to what and who we are refuting - this is the Salafi manhaj! He went on to rebutt the deviations of Suhaib Hasan, Jamiat Ahlel-Hadith and he advised the people to go to the refutation of Shaikh Ubaid al-Jaabiree upon this deviated organisation. He concluded by mentioning the corrupted statements of Abu Usamah adh-Dhahabi against one of the Companions, and his indications against Shaikh Ubaid al-Jaabiree and al-Maktabah as-Salafiyyah (Salafi Publications). The Shaikh advised Abu Usamah not to use machinations and self-contradictory statements - i.e. accusing clearly and falsely a Companion of being a Faasiq and then later he claimed, swearing by Allaah, that he didn’t know he was a Companion! And then making indications against Shaikh Ubaid al-Jaabiree in trying to defend himself! And then accusing those who corrected him of being Ghulaat and Hadaadees!
