The conference organised by the brothers at Masjid al-Furqaan (Troid.org) was a great success, may Allah bless the brothers and sisters who organised it, those who lectured and those who attended.

Many issues were clarified, like our connection to the scholars and love of them; our position towards the Salaf and how to behave with those who oppose the Salaf; that there are differences in the Ummah that are tolerated and differences that are intolerable - so how did the Salafi distinguish between the two?; The Ghurabaa (the Strangers) and their defining characteristics; the Aided Group (at-taa’ifah al-mansoorah) is not harmed by those who abandon them, nor by those who quit them - rather they remain steadfast; a rebuttal of the people of our times who ascribe themselves to Salafiyyah and then wage war against the Salafis claiming that they performing Jihaad!

Included were detailed responses to those who speak ill of the scholars and claim they are independent of them and have no need of them.

Likewise prominent callers in the West who ascribe themselves to Ahlus-Sunnah were rebutted - those who defend and protect the people of bid’ah and their ideologies and claim that this is from the Salafi manhaj - responses to the deviations of Yasir Qadhi (and those who signed the pledge of unity alongside him), Abu Usamah Adh-Dhahabi, Suhaib Hasan and the various jama’aat and political jam’iyyaat of misguidance.
