The brother Abul Hasan al-Akhdar is the Imaam of Masjid Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdul-Wahhaab in Camden New Jersey, USA. Our brother Malik is an African American who was raised as a Christian. After embracing Islam he travelled to Egypt where he studied for a number of years, he also studied in Yemen. From his teachers is the Muhaddith, Muqbil Ibn Haadee (d.1421H) - may Allaah have mercy upon him - from whom he attained Ijaazah. He is the author of the book ‘In Defense of Islam after 9/11’.
