The Prophet Muhammad (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) once prophesized: “Verily, this affair shall reach as far as the day and night reach.  Allaah shall not leave any house, whether made of clay/brick or animal hides, except that He has made this Deen (Islam) to enter into it, honouring the honourable ones, disgracing the disgraced: an honour that Allaah bestows upon Islam; and a disgrace that He disgraces disbelief with.” (Silsilatus-Saheehah, 3rd hadeeth [narration], Vol. one; page 7, Imaam al-Albaanee)

Appeal for Da’wah Materials for the the Carribbean 

During this blessed month of Ramadaan, we are appealing to the international community to support and important an noble cause. The Caribbean islands of Jamaica and St. Lucia are home to sometimes small and remote Muslim communities in need to da’wah materials. Jamaica is home to a fastly growing Muslim community mostly comprised of local converts, outside of Trinidad, it has the largest Muslim population in the Caribbean and Islam has been widely accepted.  St. Lucia is home to a couple hundred Muslims, da’wah efforts are active in the bustling port town of Castries and da’wah materials have proven useful, lately, four young St. Lucian women accepted Islam in the countryside of this beautiful small east carribean island, by Allaah’s permision.  

Allaah the Majestic mentions in the Qur’an,  

“And whatsoever you spend of anything (in the cause of Allah), He will replace it. He is the Best of those who grants sustenance.” [Qur’an, Saba‘ 34:39]
The Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all.” [Related by Muslim (8/61)]

 Uncovering Ash’aree Aspersions Against Salafiyyah and the Salafees - Our brother Hasan as-Somali presents a point by point refutation upon the erroneous claims from one the Philadelphian Jahmites, who alleges that Muhammad ‘Abduh was the founder and originator of what is known today as the Salafee Da’wah.  Our brother plays the speech of the Ash’aree himself and refutes it in a way that leaves the false claimant with no choice but to retract his statement.  SunnahAudio.com has inserted the audio statements of the Ash’arees as brother Hasan addresses them, included the nonsensical statement of Yusuf Estes concerning the ascription to the Salaf.

Brother Hasan establishes proof against the statement of the Ash’aree ignoramus - that no one used the term Salaf or Salafee before Muhammad ‘Abduh (d.1905CE) - so he brings the statements of the famed linguist, Ibnul-Mandhoor, Imaam al-Awzaa’ee (d.157H), Ibnul-Atheer (d.606H), Abul-Mudhaffar as-Sam’aanee (d.489H) and adh-Dhahabee (d.748H) and as-Safaareenee (d.406H).

Included within this lecture are the audio clips from the deviants themselves, so that they will have no excuse with which to dodge the issues.  Additionally, our brother Hasan deals with the ignorant statement of Yusuf Estes regarding Salafiyyah - that if one says he is a Salafee, then he is saying that he is a dead righteous guy!?!

Points of benefit to be gained from this lecture:

- Numerous examples of the Names and Attributes in the noble Qur`aan and the authentic Sunnah, along with statements from the Imaam of the Salaf explaining how these texts are to be interpreted and understood.

- Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim (d.751H) demonstrates the importance of referring all of the affairs of our Religion back to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, and that if the clarification for all the affairs in our Religion were not found in these two sources, then it is impossible that Allaah and His Messenger would have commanded us to do so.

- Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (d.728H) uses the the Ash’ariyyah’s own logic in affirming some of the Attributes of Allaah and rejecting the majority of them through ta’teel (denial) and tahreef (distortion) - or what they term ta`weel (figurative interpretation).

- Uncovering how the Ashaa`irah use methaphorical meanings for the Attributes of Allaah, in a manner that was unknown to the Arabs in the time of the Messenger of Allaah - up until the writings of Greek philosophy were translated into Arabic and adapted by some innovators into the perfect and complete Religion of Islaam.

- Affirmation of the fundamental principle of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah about not delving into the modality, or ‘how’ the Attributes of Allaah are (i.e. takyeef).

- Clarification that the Ash’ariyyah of our time do not in reality have a conflict with the person of Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah or Imaam al-Albaanee, rather they seek to destroy the pure ‘aqeedah of Islaam itself - as it was understood by the Salaf of this Ummah and the early generations of Muslims.
